Let me pick up from where we left at the first chapter..
As I said, Menon opens the door very happily, and welcomes all his friends with open heart.. Now is the time for us to choose our seats. Anandraj will always find the corner position with an expression that says, "you ppl carry on with your life. I will not disturb you. I am an innocent by-stander just watching the proceedings". Rajettan will sit on the edge of the bed, Amith will be standing as the master of the ceremony, and I with all the humbleness in the world, would like to watch the world from an angle very close to the floor..As soon as Kausik gets seated, we can hear a cry from menon, "@^%%&-Kaushike(here mainly menon uses an elegent word, which matches perfectly with 'kaushik').. ethra thavana paranjittundeda thalayinayude molil keri irikkaruthennu?".. Potti doesn't require much space.. He will be content to occupy the entire bed with head on someone else's lap.. Mathew will be more than happy to have Menon's very own chair, leaving menon to stand, searching for a place in his very own room..
Now topics are always in plenty.. Depending upon the size of the group, the topics vary.. If Amith is present, he will somehow find a way to be the story-teller.. For example take a look at this conversation.
Suppose Potti is the one talking, "Aravindha, ente Wifi sariyakunnilla.. IP problem aanennu thonnunu".. Amith can always say, "athu paranjapozha orthe, My minesweeper is taking so much time to load.. I'm finding it very tough to wait in front of the computer.."
It's difficult enough to understand the level of enthusiasm Amith puts into such an "interesting game" as minesweeper.. But what is even tougher to digest is how on earth did he connect from Potti's Wifi to Minesweeper..
OK, for argument's sake, let us assume that his inner self found a link in the topic which could be anything between IT sector and defective laptops.. What I find amazing is his ability to take on topics as in the following conversation.
This is when we were discussing a serious topic - "What do you ppl say about the casteration of Dogs? like is it proper to act upon the sanctity of life?".
Amith: "athu paranjappozha orthe.. ente muriyil ente koode kattilil kidannirunna poocha kazhinja masam prasavichu.. 6 kunjungal!!"..
Ofcourse!! Bravo Amith!!

Authors Comments: It took me just two days to complete the first two chapters. But this chapter has taken some 3 weeks to get to this level. I wanted to write more. But I am not sure when it could be published. So I decided to put up whatever I have written. Maybe I will come back some other day to finish off the rest. But in the meantime, comments are most welcome.
